OCR Limitations

The following are the current limitations of the OCR system:

  1. Text Orientation: For best accuracy, text should be horizontally aligned and not tilted more than ±5 degrees.
  2. Character Set: Limited to alphanumeric characters and a small set of special characters.
  3. Text Formatting: Cannot output text formatting such as bold, italic, underline, etc.
  4. Watermark Detection: Cannot detect or distinguish watermark text, especially if it's diagonal or heavily stylized. Bold watermarks may impact the accuracy of text recognition for the areas they cover.
